Archie McPattonArchie McPatton
Archie McPatton (born 1965) is an American talk show host, author, and political commentator. He is best known for his abrasive style, extreme right-wing views, and two successful programs, The McPatton Thing (2004 - 2008) and Fuck You With Archie McPatton (2008 - ongoing).

Early Life
Archie McPatton was born in 1965 in Yonkers, New York. One of seven children, he was the son of Miles McPatton, a Korean War veteran, and Darlene Potts McPatton, an enormous housewife. In school, he was a frustrated athlete. "When I took to the field, even the cheerleaders started booing," McPatton recalled in his 2005 book Shut Up and Be Quiet. "I soon realized that if I was ever going to be successful, I would have to systematically destroy other people's lives." After attending college, where he majored in communications, McPatton began a series of internships at radio and television stations, leading to to career in broadcasting.
The McPatton Thing and Fuck You
The McPatton Thing premiered in 2004, often providing a soapbox for Bush campaign surrogates and conservative groups such as Homeless Veterans for Bush and ECPOO. Other frequent guests included right-wing columnist Amy Keeler and cable television mogul Pubert Gristle.
Even in the current media climate, McPatton's rhetoric was considered too abrasive for mainstream audiences. After widespread complaints about several of McPatton's more pointed statements, The McPatton Thing was cancelled in 2008. The same year, McPatton returned with a new program, Fuck You with Archie McPatton. Unlike The McPatton Thing, which featured one guest per episode, Fuck You has McPatton moderating panels of experts and commentators. Frequent panelists include Amy Keeler and Ralph Piss.
